How PinDown handles content

PinDown does not host, store, or archive any Pinterest media. When you submit a Pinterest pin or board link, our server reads the public Pinterest page and locates the media files Pinterest already serves to visitors, then streams those same files directly from Pinterest's own servers (pinimg.com) to your device — including when several pins from a board are packaged into a ZIP. We do not keep a copy on our infrastructure, re-upload files, or make them available to anyone else through our Site.

We only access public content

The Service can only retrieve Pins that are publicly visible to a signed-out Pinterest visitor. It does not authenticate as any user, and it cannot access private boards, private Pins, or anything behind a Pinterest login.

Responsibility for downloaded content

Pinterest itself is a platform where users share images and videos, and not all content pinned there is necessarily posted with the rights holder's permission. PinDown does not verify ownership or licensing of any Pin. If you download a file through this Service, you are responsible for ensuring your use of it complies with copyright law and respects the rights of the original creator.

Submitting a copyright takedown request

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on one's behalf) and believe content accessible through our Service infringes your copyright, you can send a notice to copyright@pindown.online. To help us act quickly, please include:

• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• The specific Pinterest URL(s) associated with the alleged infringement
• Your contact information (name, email, and if applicable, your organization)
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf
• Your physical or electronic signature

Because PinDown does not host any files, the underlying content itself remains on Pinterest — we'd also encourage you to file a report directly with Pinterest, who can remove the Pin at its source. Upon receiving a valid notice, we will review it and, where appropriate, take steps such as blocking the Service from resolving links to the reported content.

Counter-notices

If you believe content was blocked in error, you may contact us at the same address with an explanation, and we will review the matter.
